Turn security signals
into decisions.
Connect the controls you operate with the people and processes needed to review alerts, escalate incidents and close security gaps.
Built around your environment.A practical answer
to everyday complexity.
A security product can generate an alert without telling the business what should happen next. Managed security addresses that operational gap: which signals are collected, who reviews them, what evidence is available and who can authorise a response.
AXO works with your team to define the systems in scope and an escalation model that fits the business. Device administration, monitoring, investigation and incident response are separate responsibilities; the service design makes their boundaries visible.
When this service fits.
Common reasons to start the discussion.
The response to a suspected incident depends on informal messages.
Security reviews report activity without tracking unresolved exposure.
The work behind the outcome.
A detailed starting point, shaped into a proposal for your environment.
Endpoint & perimeter management
Identify endpoint agents, firewalls and other controls in scope. Review configuration ownership, deployment gaps, policy changes and the process for exceptions.
Telemetry & coverage planning
Map available endpoint, identity, cloud and network signals. Confirm what can be collected, the required licences and retention, and the systems that remain outside visibility.
Alert review & prioritisation
Agree how alerts are categorised, what evidence is examined and when a case is escalated. Severity should reflect the affected system and business context as well as the tool rating.
Investigation & escalation
Record investigation boundaries and the people authorised to isolate devices, disable accounts or approve emergency changes. Specialist forensics or extended incident response should have an explicit handoff.
Control improvement
Use recurring alerts and coverage gaps to prioritise configuration changes, remediation and detection improvements. Validate changes before treating an issue as closed.
Security service reviews
Review meaningful cases, outstanding risk, monitoring coverage and improvement actions. Service hours, staffed response and escalation availability are specified in the service agreement.

Signal sources
Coverage begins with the endpoints, identities, workloads and network controls that actually provide usable telemetry.
Triage & investigation
Cases need context, evidence and a named owner. A notification alone is not a complete investigation.
Authorised action
Containment and remediation follow the agreed authority matrix, with a documented escalation path and follow-up review.

Clear answers.
Is this the same as buying endpoint security?
No. A product licence supplies a tool. Managed security defines the operational work around selected tools, such as administration, alert review, escalation and reporting.
Is monitoring automatically a 24-hour staffed response service?
Monitoring, staffed review and incident response availability are different commitments. The proposal defines the hours, coverage and escalation arrangements you are purchasing.
Can you work with our existing security tools?
Start with a review of the products, access, licences and data they expose. Compatibility and operational responsibility must be confirmed during discovery.
Who can approve emergency containment?
The service should name customer decision-makers, delegated authorities and fallback contacts. Actions such as isolation or account suspension need a clear authorisation model.
Does the service guarantee compliance?
A managed security service can support operational controls and evidence. Compliance obligations and any independent assessment remain specific to your organisation and agreed scope.
